Okay, when I load up Die Hard Arcade on MAME and I have all of the correct files the following message appears and I can go no further:

 

CART #1 [DIE HARD ARCADE]

OPERATION OF THIS CARTRIDGE IS DISALLOWED IN THIS COUNTRY.

 

ERROR ON CARTRIDGE.

PRESS SERVICE BUTTON TO EXIT

 

I know we're permitted to play this here because I saw it at my shopping mall!

 

Is there any way I can get around this strange error?

MAME is trying to play it in Japan.

 

 

Right-click on the game, Properties, Miscellaneous, Bios

Choose US bios.

 

The clone Dynamite Deka needs the Japanese bios; you could of tried that one.
