Agozer
Any kof2003 rom that is decrypted will be hacked. Since the P rom needs to changed to work in emu's like NRX. If you wait for awhile Kawaks will end up supporting this rom. As its offically supported in Mame now. How do we find out whether Kof2003 is supported in Kawaks now? You don't. It's supported in MAME though ... And in Kawaks/Nebula Loader.

garyoak99
You don't. It's supported in MAME though ... And in Kawaks/Nebula Loader.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know...I tried running the Neo Geo ROM in the newest version of MAME but it said it was missing a number of files. I managed to run Kof2003 in my very old hacked version of Neoragex but there were missing sprites and palletes everywhere! I tried running it in Kawaks Loader but the ASR.dat I found pinned in this section of the forum didn't get it to show up in the list of available games. It worked for SVC Chaos though. Has the ASR.dat code even been tested for Kof2003?
Agozer
All I know is that KOF2003 works in both Nebula Loader and NeoRAGEx for me. I also have all the newer sets for MAME, which proves that those sets work in MAME. You were either missing the Neo-Geo BIOS or the romset you had wasn't a MAME set. The only set I haven't been able to get working in Nebula Loader is the non-prototype decrypted set of Garou, which works well in EGCG NeoRGEx. Agozer
Nebula 2.25 LoaderI don't know about NeoRAGEx, it's some EGCG version, but not the latest. Oh yeah, MAME doesn't recognize non-MAME sets (NeoRAGEx, Nebula, Kawaks).

Agozer
Well, 000-lo.lo is part of the MAME Neo-Geo BIOS set. What DAT are you using and what are the contents of your set?
