I've heard that Nod32 was really good. and that it was catching and preventing teh latest windows picture bug (can't remember teh name) before MS had even announced the bug.

i have 05 on my laptop and AVG on the PC and other laptop, then i have a 3rd laptop that never goes online or even on the network so it has nothing :/

 

and i forget what i have on my PDA....Airscanner Pro i think

why doesnt someone just make their own virus scanner thats compatible with the norton or mcaffee viruse definition files? Then it would be for sure up to date and everything

Another vote for Avast. Although I used Symantec (the Norton guys) Corporate Antivirus 10 which wasn't bad.

I started using clamwin; which doesn't have on-access scanning yet but they working on it.

 

as long as I don't use Internet Explorer :-)

Those are ALWAYS better than NAV because they are designed to use less resources+are updated alot more (Coporate versions) I wouldnt mind using that.

so symantec coorporate antivirus is better than norton antivirus but with the same strength?
