Alpha Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Check this out, I've never seen anything like it! Before you know it, gaming will look exactly like real TV.
Weirdy Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 umm...that's called Fight Night Round 3, not Final Fight 3 ...it's ok, I understand why one would get confused
Madi Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 pfft, everyone knows that DOA 4 will pwn every fighter on 360!
Gryph Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Those pics are too high res to be taken from realtime footage. It's probably one of those screenshot things where you can output something to a much higher res.
i l l m a t i c Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 put the game in a normal tv and the graphics will be ehh

Yep, even in 1080p (1920 x 1080 and omething the 360 doesn't support) the image is very much upscaled. However, with it being upscaled, even with some of the best utilities out there......at 1280 x 720 (720p) it will look just as good. 1080i may be higher res, but it's still interlaced......interlacing is teh suck, HDTV or not.
Lucandrake Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Hmm, maybe I'll go download the demo as soon as it's available in the market place, but I have 480i, which kind of sucks compared to most res's out there available now >.>. But if you go to EB, the 360's are hooked up to 720p tv's (lcd), and you can play the majority of games there.
Gryph Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 It is available on marketplace. It's been available for over a week since the CES keynote.
Lucandrake Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 (edited) Really? Guess I'll go d/l it right now hehe. Edited January 22, 2006 by Drake
