+ T +
Having fun with FBAxxxPro !!! But yet a matter with jockeygp.... no keys..... (sorry french).Work with 1.26 (ver 09/07/2006) : numbers games work, followed the gamelist.txt, but jockeygp !!!!Heeelp please ! And thks if you write a new version !See ya !I'll look into this for the next version. is there a way for FBA to display games at the proper arcade resolution without filters? i'm running this on an arcade machine and the games look slightly different from a real arcade game.Unfortunately not. The Xbox cannot display resolutions lower than 640x480 so upscaling the display is always necessary. That's why it doesn't look the same as original hardware. Ix444333
i see, thanks for the info! would you happen to know which settings make it look the closest to the arcade version, though?fiddling with the options make my eyes go weird, and i can hardly judge things properly when that happens. >_< edit:does anyone know why Alpha 3 dhalsim's fireballs and hcf, hcf+p super are invisible? anyone know how to fix it? babelfish
Heya +T+, I found a bug in the latest version, and boy is it a doozy -- the reset option no longer works! I've tried both the in game shortcut (L+R+START), and by selecting "Reset Game" from the in-game menu, but the game just continues on like nothing happened Also, on the "Show Help" screen, the description for the reset shortcut reads "Reset Ro", not "Reset ROM" Other than that everything is looking awesome, long live FBA-XXX Pro!!! Ix444333
thanks, T, i hope that fixes the fireball problem as well. i'll try that in a bit. edit:it looks a LOT better than my old setup, thanks! and it does fix the fireball thing. edit2: (i don't want to double post.)i've always had this MAJOR problem with FBA XXX Pro: it doesn't follow the rompaths i set in the FBAxxx.ini file. it only reads the roms that are in the \FBAXXX Pro\roms folder. why is that? I don't see mine when I restart a game.Tks for answer,See ya ! That s normal, you must use memory cards for neogeo, highscores were not saved in arcade machine because they were always turned on .So, use memory card function for neogeo games at least, but I think there is a bug with it, can't tell because I don't use this function. Cospefogo
Well,My turn... What happens --- Just bought "Cosmo X-FightingStick" (nowadays all other kind of arcade controllersare sold out!) and got stuck on real damn problem (with the controller versus MAME and FBA-XXX)... THERE IS NO BACK BUTTON in that damn controller!!! I tried to edit the Special COnfiguration selection on the controllermenu and assign the coin to L button (I use it only as L+R to exit games, in Arcade Mode)but it does not work at all... The coin still assigned to BACK button. I tried also to change the same inside the IN-GAME menus, but again,no results! Damn arcade controller!! Who was the crazy designer who forgotto put a BACK button on it? To end my dillemma, to exit MAMEoX games I need to press BACK+START...Everybody knows if is there a way to change that? The temporary solution (what I think it will be permanent) is tokeep a second controller always plugged (I'm alone in the house, never needed that) just to use the back button. But this trick does not work with some games, for exampleCadillacs & Dinossaurs --- If I enter coins on second controller, the coins stay assigned to the second player! AeaAheeaa!)c: I miss a super-full configurable controller layouts likewe have in X-Port emulators. Is this too much work tocreate features like that for the future versions? Thanks for the attention, guys!Cheers,C.
