In Australia the analog system will be switched off in 2008. Given the serious lack of quality programs currently, I don't expect to get a new TV or digital set-top box. The TV hasn't even been switched on for nearly a week, as all we have is American rubbish sitcoms and crappy movies. I mean, star wars episode 4 is on again tonight for the umpteenth time.

like most people said before me, TV suck there's never anything good on that u haven't seen before. i only have a tv for the ps2 and family don't watch tv cuz i download HK soap and they just watch it on their own laptop. so this law doesn't have much effect on me. however i am interested in what they are going to do with new frequencies

i actually don't really watch tv OR movies..

 

they don't seem to interest me anymore... i'd rather read.

 

speaking of which, the "Sword of Truth' series is a REALLY good read.
