Halo 2 hacking

yeah so uhhh, i want to try it, i already know how to bridge and everything, and i THINK i know a site where to get the hacked saves (But i think they are really map patches or something) I heard you can just put a hacked halo 2 profile on your memory card and go on xbox live and it works, can anyone teach me how to convert those patches or whatever i need to do? Im not going to go on live and be a cheating shithead and ruin everyones fun (even though people do crap to me almost every game) i just want to see this stuff.
