Prican25
ok, i normally just get mame plus when a update comes out tho once in a while i bump into versions that claim optimized for athlon, p4 and such and i'm wondering if those certain versions really make a difference compared to the normal build? Robert
Personally I don't care, I use the standard version, works fine.

Agozer
I haven't really noticed any improvements when I tried the AMD64 optimized build. Supposedly you get a slight speed increase thanks to the specific instructions used, but if there is a speed increase, I'm not seeing it. The "normal" MAME32Plus! works well enough for me.
