Shibathedog Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Does anyone know how to make a Linksys BEFW11S4 Wireless B Router function as just a Hub/Switch? im going to be sharing internet access with a bunch of wired devices using this setup, I would just crossover into the WAN port like ive been doing, but Xlink Kai doesnt see my xbox that way.
ken_cinder Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 RTFM lol I've never encountered a router that can be put into switch mode, but thats not saying one doesn't exist. My DSL modem can be run in bridge or router mode.
Shibathedog Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 yeah, my WRT54GS can do it (but maybe thats just because its running DD-WRT now) but i dont want to use this router as my main one because the wireless keeps crapping out on it.
