new games with mame32+

i have read in this forum that someone got samsho5 to work with there MAME32+

 

how do you do that ?

i did not see any dat files there

The current MAME builds support all Neo-Geo games now, because the devs got really fed up when people were always asking why Samurai Shodown V/SNK Vs. Capcom Chaos/Metal Slug 5 etc. work in MAME.

 

FYI, MAME does not use any DATs, it uses drivers. Since those drivers are already put into the sourcecode, you just need to find the MAME sets of said games.

Just go to here http://www3.emu-zone.org/host/mameplus/

And then find the correct rom.
