Ahmad89 Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 I have a problem, i have macromedia flash on my computer and there is a web site that has videos and i can watch them but cannot download them. When i right click and click "Save Target As" it only saves the link, i want the whole video and save it on my computer. Is it possible, cause i think there is a program to do that. Please, i really need the videos. Thank You.
Gryph Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Go into the source code of that web site and search for.swf and download it that way.
Weirdy Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 (edited) ...or if you use adblock, click on the tab and it'll show you the URL. If it's youtube, then forget it. I think their server runs an app. that displays a video in flash (sort of like how google video works). Edited March 4, 2006 by Weirdy
Ahmad89 Posted March 4, 2006 Author Posted March 4, 2006 Do i go to View-Source?If thats right, how do i download it.
Robert Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 I generally search my "Temporary Internet Files" cache for *.swf files and copy them to a safe place. Doesn't work for Google videos, there is a swf and a flv file, but i couldn't work out how to make it play.
Weirdy Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 you need to find "flv player" for flv files (which are what google video actually shows you)
fischju Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 I go to the source to download videos from newgrounds so i can convert them for moonshell.
