garyoak99
Windows Media Player seems to load slowly... My brother doesn't want me to screw up his play list in Winamp. What do you use to play .mp3s on your PC? Edited March 7, 2006 by garyoak99
Agozer
Foobar. Although I still prefer Winamp.

retroK
I switched to foobar2000 Winamp is too bloated and had a lot of security issues lately. Edited March 7, 2006 by retroK
Samor
I'm just using the latest "official" foobar release though. I tried out a foobar beta but the search for correct plugins was too troublesome.
Wizard
Foobar2000 is a good choice because it supports all formats out of the box. With Winamp, it just depends what you choose to do with it. It isn't as bloated as people think. Their are various installations for a reason.
Samor
it eats memory. kinda. I can use it on my desktop (and I do), but my laptop only has 256mb. In that case, foobar. Winamp has that better working ADX plugin though (called in_cube)
Wizard
Classic Winamp 2.92 still works if you don't want to get the 5.12 version.
Samor
in that case, I rather have foobar...
