Shibathedog
This seems to be the best for the money, i compared it to tons of other products, 2GB, about 80 dollars, and one of the fastest (there where a few that where like 1 or 2 megs faster but they where like another 30+ dollars so i figured it wasnt worth the tradeoff) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820144009 Never heard of that brand though, but i trust neweggs speed claims. Tynvar
I don't know about the brand. Sounds good in specs but not sure I trust the maker.
Shibathedog
well newegg is good about returns. If they really had alot of complaints on it i think they would stop selling it
Daeval
I want to say I've heard good things about Geil memory, but I don't remember 100%. I recently got one of those Seagate USB puck drives. 5gb for ~$90 on Amazon. It's slow compared to a memstick, and a little bigger, but it holds all my stuff and I just toss it in my backpack anyway. The cord is a little short, but that's not usually a problem. Plus, it fits perfectly in an altoids citrus tin: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/customer-...index=0#gallery

Bobdrakke
I've used peak drives 1GB 512 and 256MB with no problem but each to their own
ken_cinder
USB hard drive caddy + desktop drive = F**K flash drives You can go so far as to get a slim caddy and notebook drive, for larger storage space at a lower cost. Flash media is still a HUGE ripoff IMO
Shibathedog
yeah it is, but its more portable/quicker for alot of things and its still cheaper if you only need a few GBs or less
Shibathedog
BTW I did alot of research, and this seems to be the best USB flash drive around (for the price) http://www.supermediastore.com/pqi-cool-dr...drive-170x.html Its alot faster than the PNY Drive (which is only 9mbps read 7mbps write if i remember correctly) and i actually bought one and did alot of testing and it works fine for everything, its in almost constant use and hasnt died yet
