Ryuken Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 everything that i've read about vista are negative and to the point that i don't think i'll buy it
Agozer Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I'll definitely stick to Windows XP, and I'm not going to upgrade my compuyter anytime soon either just to be able to run a friggin' OS.
James Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Its way to early to make comments on an OS that is still in beta stages. Rather pointless bitchin about it at this point in time.
someboddy Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Vista needs som much memeory so it can screw you up faster.

The small flap thingy on a goalie's hockey mask.
Elazul Yagami Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 i read this : "virus eating at least 800mb of memory" then i realized virus was vista.then i realized.... big difference anywho, i'm sticking to xp for as long as possible, then i'm migrating permanently to linux. with the amount of processing power required to run vista, i could pretty much run linux AND wine flawlessly with the same power required to run vista alone.
BlackKnight Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Normally I wouldnt mind the trade off of memory for flashy interface gimmicks, but this would mean if I run Doom 3 on it, say, it wont perform as well yeh? If thats the case *in theory* then Im a bit upset.
someboddy Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Vista need alot of memory to run all those bugs
