Cloud Strife14 Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 Hi Guys! I heard that DualiS was able to play commercial games, but in another Release not! Has the developer included some Protection against Commercial Games or is this a bug?
iq_132 Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 Dualis is not able to run dumps of NDS cartridges. Do not ask me if/when it will be able to run said dumps. http://dualis.1emulation.com/
mic Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 It's not a deliberate limitation, it simply doesn't run any commercial titles yet.And even when/if it would, its focus still will be on developer features.
teo95gr Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 It will run commercial in probably 1 or 2 years...?
ninja1 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 it will run commercial roms when Mic turns his attention too it, and sofar he is doing quite a good job doing whut he does, so i vote we let him be and just for him
ieremiou Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 (edited) I don't care if he does or doesn't support the commerical boot coding. It doesn't really matter yet. The fact he is able to support sound is a lot more interesting than anything else I've seen so far. (besides iDeas (limited) 3d support and DesmuMe's (fairly decent) 2d support) Seems everybody has something a lil bit different than the other one. I'm impressed either way. ~Allustar Edited March 24, 2006 by ieremiou
ninja1 Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 i gotta admit, great improvement incomparison to last version (18.1) is this (19) , can finnaly kinda play tales of dagur
Tiduas Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 Well, i think he's just trying to get it all to work just now, the E3 demos would be a great goal, if he can do these... then maybe we can start talking about commercial games. It's fun to see a emulator grow up i think
