Equilizer settings

Here's an idea

 

Post equilizer settings in this thread; preferrably some pictures too.

 

 

30hz is at 8.1 dB,

62hz is at 5.6 dB,

125hz is at 2.0 dB,

250hz is flat,

500hz is -3.0 dB,

1 - 4khz are flat,

8khz is 4.3 dB,

and 16khz is at 7.2 dB

 

I also have the wave volume down to 80% so there would be no clipping.

I use Full Bass & Treble EQ in Winamp, which is basically the same as in the picture above.

I've never messed around with equilizer settings because I don't know what the flock to do.

you all should really learn to use an equalizer, you can do much more with that than DFX plugins and crap like that

 

weirdy i wouldnt recomend adjusting anything below flat unless your really hearing too much of that frequency

I just don't like 500hz

Theres nothing wrong with taking any freq range below 0db. My band runs in a tight "U" pattern across the spectrum, with half the band being between 0db -5db.

 

Depending on your music preference, you may need this. 0 on the spectrum is simply level input>output. Doesn't mean the input is the way it should sound, thats the purpose of an equalizer!

yeah but the only time you should go into the negatives is if your speakers/sound card is really putting too much of that frequency out

 

going to -5 isnt really a big deal but when people to to things like -25 is when they are getting carried away
