Dell Acquires Alienware

I thought it was pretty interesting how this circulated rumor now finally happened. Though Alienware won't be selling dell Pcs, it'll be interesting to see if Alienware changes their pc to implement Dell hardware or something like that.

Naw, they just get their stuff cheaper now. Don't mean Alienware comp prices will go down.

I'm sure Dell would like to sell AMD systems which they can do through Alienware now. I don't think I could respect anyone that actually buys an Alienware though.

A friend of mine last year bough a alienware laptip. spent a good 4 thousand dollars(I laughed when I saw the specs didnt add up to the rig I built for WAY less than half that) and hes had SO many issues. mostly with the customer service. he had to send it to them 3 times and everytime they dont fix the issues he point out.

 

maybe they will be getting Dells customer service..one can hope I guess..though I agree I cant respect anyone who buys an alienware:P

I dunno about you, but my friend got excellent support for his. The only thing that was messed up was the curier accidently dropped his comp.

 

Oh he filed a complaint, a very, big, complaint to FedEx.

yeah the only alienware i would consider buying is a laptop because you cant really build your own laptop
