Question: On what basis does CrlMamePro mark some sets as 'Unneeded file' after scan even though the file inside the archive is needed?

I don't know! I only use clrmamepro when i'm building sets for seeding and if something went missing it doesn't really matter because it would get downloaded anyway.

 

For my own rom sets for use with emulators, I have my own rom manager for that, something I made for myself. The reason is; that it supports multiple emulators, multiple rom sets all at once, and builds the zip files with that in mind.
