mic Posted April 13, 2006 Author Posted April 13, 2006 this release got smaller.. by 70 kbsBecause I changed the linker flags, plus i UPXed the main executable.
Federelli Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Mic, even if it's just a slideshow, it's an awesome improvement. Keep it up, i see this emulator going a long, long way
Federelli Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Btw, i have a pretty strong feeling that.zip support is broken.
mic Posted April 13, 2006 Author Posted April 13, 2006 (edited) It's quite possible that it's broken. I haven't tested .zip support in a long time since I have all .nds files unpacked on my system. Edited April 13, 2006 by mic
ieremiou Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 (edited) Any thought of supporting .7z or .rar formats either? EDIT: There should be spaces before the (periods) but the darn thing takes them away =\ EDIT 2: silly period after space removal I laugh at you. Edited April 13, 2006 by ieremiou
Robert Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Put in 2 spaces before the period and it only takes away one.
Federelli Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Yeah, considering 7 zip support is a good thing. Spacewise, here's how a fullset of roms, from 0001 to 0402 and some demos compressed: NDS(.zip): 8,11 GB (8.713.881.780 bytes)NDS(.7z & zip): 7,77 GB (8.345.866.837 bytes)NDsAfter(.7z): 6,45 GB (6.935.131.852 bytes) I know that in windows an Ultra.7z decompresses/compresses way faster than an Ultra.zip, but i don't know if this also happens when implementing it oneself.
