Metal Slug 4&5

Hi guys,

 

I am a noob and I can't get these games to work on my FBA XXX Pro (latest version). What files do I require in order to get them to run? I am extremely lost about the encrypted decrypted ect.

 

I got mslug4.zip and mslug5.zip, what else do I need?

 

Please note mods, I am not requesting a rom I am just seeking information on what to get/do in order to get it to work.

get romcenter (pc app) and add the dat that comes with fba-xxx pro and run it and then add the directory where your roms are and it should tell you what will be needed for the rom\s.

got my dat loaded, it just has a list of all the roms. does it check for me if they will work? or does it just shhow me the list of files that are needed?

ok i've added them, the files for my metal slug 5 have different names and are in.rom file instead of.bin, do i rename them or what? and there is a file there that isn't in the romcenter thing, do i delete it? thanks

romcenter has fix options, just right click on the files

Alright, I got MS3 working =).

 

I do right click, but what do I click after it? test files? that button is greyed out. Also, when I go into Metal Slug 4 & 5 it says that 'Bios [neogeo] needed. Although I do have the neogeo.zip in the roms folder, unless its talking about something else.

 

Another thing,

 

I checked in the zip file and it has 263-c1.bin for MS4, but it is still coming up as red, not green.

red is telling you got the wrong one needed, yellow files can be fixed, green is good to go, and grey is unknown file

so what am i supposed to do? look for another source and download the whole thing again?
