Mame32k 0.64 problems

I've downloaded like 6-7 different versions of mame32k 0.64 but i cant assign semicolon ( ; ) as hotkey in neither of them, however on mame 0.67 semicolon works fine. I was wondering if there is some way to make it work on 0.64 beacuse im so used to that hotkey.

O yea and the reason i want to play the 0.64 version is cause everyone on kaillera is using it.

Ah i figured it out myself, it was the directinput option that was causing the problem. Everything's fine now.
