I was wondering about my 360 controller

So I haven't gotten my 360 back yet.. so I was wondering, is it possible to use it with my pc? I connected it, and it's recharging strangely >.>. But I was wondering if there are any programs out there that let you use it for a game device.

I donno about wireless, but regular USB controllers work fine with microsoft's drivers.

Not my wireless controler. I think it's because the only thing the usb connection for it does is recharge the battery, all the sending and recieving is done wireless all the time.
