Well, looking at the trailors, hearing all the news. Staring at oblivien with mad hunger in my eyes, has made me wonder the question for the poll.

Consideration all the next gen consoles are coming out, I would vote good yes. Many good sequels came/are coming out for games as well so this is a pretty good year for gaming.

Important? I dunno

What also made me spawn this thread is all those articles stating that the gaming industry was moving toward a big fallout if not dieing completly.

Wii seems to be the only one trying to change the way games played. PS3 and 360 still giving us the same things.

I don't know about THE most important year, but I think it might be important in that one of the industry's leading players is taking rather bold steps away from the standard console gaming philosophy.

while i dont think this is the best e3 ever its certainly important to me. every yr when we get to get the actually running of new consoles i think thats big. sony and nintendo have impressed me so far with their announcements and they still have a few days left. im excited with microsoft and the direction the are going with pc gaming. cant see what the rest of the week brings. and yes im one of the saps getting a ps3 at launch. the 60 gig model at that.
