Atheraal Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 I'm running Rez off an ISO with Daemon Tools, on Chankast. The game runs perfectly at first, I get in-game and run at an average 40-50 fps. Then, at seemingly a random time while I play, the sound starts to glitch. It sounds like it's still trying to play each individual sound, but only the first fraction of a second of it. It does this for the music as well. Normally, I wouldn't care, but that's half the game in Rez. I've tried it on Chankast.20a and.25, it does the same with both. Any ideas?
Agozer Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I wouldn't be too surprised if the bug is caused by chankast itself; its sound code isn't exactly accurate nor stable for that matter. You you have the J or the U version?
Atheraal Posted May 22, 2006 Author Posted May 22, 2006 The U version, I'd assume. It's all in english.
Agozer Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Anyone have any ideas for this? Many of the problems with games in Chankast are the emualator's fault and are can't be fixed until a new version comes out.
Chevy787 Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 My friend said that he used this game on Chankast and had the same problem, but it sounds fine on regular dreamcast
