Alpha
Mine would have to be: EGM ; Electronic Gaming Monthly. They seem to give some great information and stuff. I really hate the rating system with GamePro and their stupid "Fun Factor" stuff. Nintendo Power to me has always been a waste of time to read. I always like to read about all systems and I always feel the ratings for the games are *FIXED* because Nintendo made the magazine.

Alpha
psx magazine. Had funny things in there that stood out than regular gaming magazines. [icon_biggrin.gif] After all the years I have been reading gaming magazines, not once I opened Psx Magazine! Why? Never bought one! I am a Nintendo / Sega fanatic all the way. PS: However I have played some old skool psx games with bleem.

hairytash
I need to have a magazine lying around... that way when 'er indoors demands a computer free nite I can sit with a mag to read and no visit to the toilet is complete without a mag to read. (Since sex is available - porn is not required lol)Anyway personal faves are PC Format - Includes games util and hardware reviews and PC Zone - game reviews and has a two page emulation feature (but never anything new).Over the years Ive collected a nice library of mags now including Mega and Sega (megadrive mags), Amiga Format, CU Amiga, PC Format and PC Zone
stjames
Wow, I may sound like an arse by saying this as no one else has brought it up but what about PC Gamer? I have always thought that thier reviews are precise, and to the point, and I like the commentary. Personally, I have a closet ful of old console related mags, but I don't buy them too much any more as the last console I purchased was the N64. emsley
Yeah in england you got a lot of choices. CVG or Gamesmaster the first one was the first computer magazine released any were in the world.[CVG stand for computer and video games] Again the offical nintendo magizine over here is really pointed to the teenage audience and for evey nintendo game released they find it impossibile to say it is crap.I never buy it, i used to but it became boring. The edge is a grown up computer magazine and quite a pricy one to.But its been a wile i think that one stopped been produced as well. Now the only one i get is released once a month "gamesmaster". Its a multiformat magazine covering PC to Gba.That magazine spawned its self from the greatest Games Show on the planet gamesmaster funnyly enuff. hairytash
The Edge is still going. I dont buy it but read it in the shops now and again. Their Retro specials are brilliant though and an absolute must read for anyone into emulation. If anyones interested theyre always changing hands on E-Bay.
