Rag Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Is it possible to patch Xbox 360 games without having Xbox live? I mean like downloading them off the PC, burning them on a cd, and installing them onto the 360 somehow? I know you can get the backwards compatibility patches this way, but can you patch games this way?
Prican25 Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 nope, unless a mod comes out allowing that its not gonna happen so you got no other choice for the time being then to use what is out (the firmware hack and using dvd+/- r dl's).

ken_cinder Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Yes, but only for 1 or 2 drive models I know of. Theres no point to it though, what with all the means of modding an Xbox that are available.I'm not using some crappy firmware hack when I buy a 360, I want to be able to run homebrew.....not just be a pirate.
