HDD+PS2

Okay so i have swapmagic discs, the network adaptor (which im going out to get a torx 6 or whatever to modify in about 5 minutes) and an HDD

 

Can someone link me/PM me a tutorial for setting all this up? I know how to connect it, but what software do i use? HD Advance or HD Loader right? and then how do i set it up?

 

Im gonna want to copy my original games to the HDD, as well as FTP some stuff (all legal homebrew games ) to the HDD as well (i have them burned on DVD-Rs right now though, is it possible to transfer them from that?)
