Playing different version of games on DC

I have bought a PAL Shenmue. But the DC that i get for myself is a NTSC US version.

 

1. Can i play it on the DC?

2. If cannot, can I use the Utopia bootdisc to boot it then put in the original game?

 

3. Failing above 2, what can I do?

1) If you have an NTSC DC

2) that should do the trick afair

3) go shoot yourself ? Sell it on ebay

I have held the original Dreamcast controller + seen the actual console and played one game (I don't even remember the name) once in my life. And that was at a gaming fair.

Well, I know some games come with a 50/60Hz selection at first boot of the game.

 

I think S2 has one. Not totally sure.

i got mine off ebay. I play it the more than my other consoles

Get mine from our local ebay type site. They are selling it for USD40++ with controllers and 50 games

you can also buy convertor boxes that convert the PAL signal to NTSC, i have one i needed to use with my old DVD player that didnt do it for me

There is quite (!) a bunch of DC games avail on p2p. About 200
