Technically, alot of those free offers are real, but they work like this

 

You sign up, and you have to complete offers, like buying useless crap you dont need, like ink cartridges, magazine subscriptions, etc, and once you complete certain amount of offers you get whatever you where promised

 

You do save some money but you also spend alot, and end up with alot of crap you dont need
