Free game server

Is there such a thing as a free multiplayer server?

I have no idea what it intails.

Are you talking about TASE or GameSpy multiplayer stuff??

well basicly.

A server for games is like a server for forums, or even your web site.

I had look round and i dont think you can get them for free.

I think you can rent them.

Well you can host ur own if you set ur firewall/router to allow them, but there are only a few number of ppl u can do it for b4 its starts to lag.

If you have a t1/t3, you can host one.

Also, you can get websites or whatnot to sponsor you or something like that, but the chances of that is very slim.

Stick to LAN, those are good because you know who ur playing with and u get BRAGGING RITES!

I bet i could host a server for afor at most 4 people that would make for a nice game really.

i know a guy who hosted his own server he had cable but as soon as he hit the 10 players mark boy was it faked up.
