problem with Dlink DI-624 router! HELP!

hi~ i switched to a dlink DI-624 router recently.. and during online gameplay (ie. css and dods via steam) it constantly get lag spikes or freezes continuously.. how do i fix that? I'm not sure but i think not just for gaming.. but even when i download the router seem to freeze for a few seconds occasionally then goes back to normal as well.. why is that?

Try upgrading the firmware....also some more info would help. Type of computer, Operation system, etc etc.

hey. I've upgraded to the latest firmware. but still experiencing same problem.

CPU - AMD Athlon64 3500+

RAM - 2x1G DDR2

OS - Windows XP SP2
