What is a FDS file?

Looks like a Nintendo game.

 

 

The file name is "19 - Neunzehn (1988)(Soft Pro International)[sFC-NEU][GD].fds".

 

Any idea what system or emulator it's for?

Speaking of FDS stuff, anyone know what the Metroid FDS is called in the GoodNES set? I have a complete set with US/JP (Good/Verified Good only) roms but only 1 Metroid rom.

Metroid FDS supports saving, rather than that stupid password system.

Famicom Disk System has it's own set. You can find a couple of revisions (1.01 and 1.02) of Metroid in the FDS set.
