sangahlolo Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 dial up ? ..... not good u know .. downloading torrent file like 500 MB or higher with DSL will take time .. so how it will be with DialUp ? u should get DSL line >>> or try Bitcomet, maybe it will work with dial up
Agozer Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Tracker error is not necessarily the BT client's or your connection's fault.
garyoak99 Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Tracker error is not necessarily the BT client's or your connection's fault. Yep, it sounds like the site may have changed its tracker address; this may have led to the tracker error message.
gymnist1026 Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 i used to torrent on a dial up connection...i use bitlord. it works pretty good on my broadband connection now. it worked well on dialup as well...I recomend not using torrents with dialup because your max download speed is going to be around 3 to 5.
Robert Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Yes torrent should work on a dialup but as everyone says, its gonna be really really slow, and you won't be able to use the internet or email at the same time.
