Torrent Help

Am using Dailup internet and I wonder if i could use torrent with it, I try bittorrent but always get a traker error, am not good with these think so can any one explain it to me (step by step)

u know .. downloading torrent file like 500 MB or higher with DSL will take time .. so how it will be with DialUp ?

Yep, it sounds like the site may have changed its tracker address; this may have led to the tracker error message.

i used to torrent on a dial up connection...i use bitlord. it works pretty good on my broadband connection now. it worked well on dialup as well...I recomend not using torrents with dialup because your max download speed is going to be around 3 to 5.

Yes torrent should work on a dialup but as everyone says, its gonna be really really slow, and you won't be able to use the internet or email at the same time.

I give up on bittorrent and now try uTorrent put every time I try to download file I have this massege : unable to map upnp port .

am using XP SP1 .... is that the prob.

can any one explain this port thing to me ?

I still can`t download any file untile now .

How could I now the right port to forward to ?

 

Am using a GPRS connect from my mobile in orange network if that help.
