KOF2k1 boss P1 file fix?

I lost the file that adds the 2 bosses to the character screen.. Anyone got it? 2k1 never loads on mame so I just play it on kawaks. I don't use the dat cheats because I'm playing it online, so both of our comps need the same files.

I hope this isn't a rom request... However, if you already have kof2001, you can go here for a patch:

It's just the hack I want. What do I do with that file though?.. it's so small.. I tried adding it but it did nothing to the original zip file...

Am I supposed to rename it to a normal file?

It's an ips patch. You need to unzip the original p1 rom find an ips patcher program and apply the patch. otherwise I can't help you, linking to roms is against the rules here.

Thankx for the help. I wasn't asking for the game rom, but just the p1 boss file. I'll look at that site for IPS patch programs.

LunarIPS is what you want to be looking for.

Tried it but it's very basic method didn't work.

 

-select patch file

-select rom file

-apply patch

 

and that's it.

Rezip the contents but the graphics are messed up and no bosses..
