Mooney Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/2526/windowsglitchwl8.jpg Why is this happening? All I did was turn on my computer, and this was happening! I don't know how to fix it... PLEASE HELP!
Sturmvogel Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 What's that supposed to represent? Is your screen off kilter? Or is it the Taskbar?
Agozer Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 If you take a closer look at that taskbar, the taskbar items have cloned themselves. That's nasty.
Lucandrake Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Wow mooney, you stumbled upon the glitch of all glitches. Did you check in the taskbar tab processes to see if they really are duplicated?
Mooney Posted September 21, 2006 Author Posted September 21, 2006 I dunno... here's my list of processes... I don't know what does what... http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/9193/processeswf1.jpg
Rag Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Thats a really wierd problem. After looking at your processes running, they all seem to check out and wouldn't cause your problem as far as I can tell. My next suggestion would try running Hijack This and posting the results here.

ken_cinder Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Obviously none of you are looking close enough to see the divider. He's got a taskbar "Toolbar" in his taskbar. It's possible to simply create, though I don't know how by accident. As I haven't used Explorer in a few years now, I'm no longer familiar with it entirely. I'm pretty sure if you right click on the taskbar and select "Toolbars" or something like that, you'll find the problem.

Well hes right, thats the problem right there. You must have accidentally added another toolbar.
Mooney Posted September 22, 2006 Author Posted September 22, 2006 I actually thought of that, but it was not the case. Turns out, this was just some freak accident; I just restarted my computer, and it went away. I don't know what happened, I'm just glad it's gone. Thanks for everyones' advice anyway!
Rag Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 For future reference, whenever you encounter problems, restart first. It solves a good amount of glitchy type problems.
