retroK
The best would surely be Adobe Photoshop, but its also very expensive. You should try GIMP or Paint .NET - both are free: http://www.gimp.org/http://www.getpaint.net/ Edited October 23, 2006 by retroK

Weirdy
If you're using linux, you might want to try Krita.
Lucandrake
Isn't giving instructions to warez the same as giving them a link to it?
Ghosty
Isn't giving instructions to warez the same as giving them a link to it? I wouldnt its not the same as giving them a direct link to the program, so I would consider it ok.

Agozer
Except it uses GTK+ under Windows (if we are talking about the Windows port) GTK+ programs suck quite a bit under Windows. Still, I won't go around saying that GIMP is a poor choice on a Windows machine, it just isn't very stable with certain configurations and GTK+ framework doesn't blend too well with the rest in Windows.
