Robert Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I use Outlook 2000 (the corporate one) at home and at work and it seems quite ok. As for browsing, I'm happy enough with IE6, I'll stay with it for now.
Agozer Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I'm just waiting for the FI localization for Firefox 2. Once you start to use Firefox and Thunderbird, you don't go back to IE or Outlook. Ever.
Weirdy Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I've went back to outlook from Thunderbird; but that was because Thunderbird began to corrupt my email attachments.
James Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I'm just waiting for the FI localization for Firefox 2. Once you start to use Firefox and Thunderbird, you don't go back to IE or Outlook. Ever. I went back to IE and Outlook Express
Wizard Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 What ever happened to supporting Opera? From what I gather, FF2.0 is basically IE7 and more. But I'm still sticking to opera.
Agozer Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I never said I didn't support Opera; on the contrary.
Gryph Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I'm going to wait till my FF autoupdates. No need to download a new executable that may not be the proper release.
Shibathedog Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 Opera is a very nice browser, but i think using Firefox 2+some addons and Thunderbird together ends up being a better solution. i ditched firefox for a real long time for opera, but i think im back to firefox with the new version as i kinda said already
Mooney Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I used Opera when my Firefox 1.5 started glitching up everything I typed online, but then I got Firefox 2.0, which I use as my main browser now.
Gryph Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I just installed Firefox 2 and it's nice. Opera is nice but the one time I used it it didn't render one of my favorite websites properly so I uninstalled it.
Lucandrake Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Alright, 2.0 fixed some of the sites that were messed up before. Now I don't have to open up IE at all except for updates .
