Can the DS, be used as a PDA

Just coming back from the dead, to say hi, and i was wondering if the DS can be used as a PDA?

There was some software rumored to be in development but I think it was cancelled.

I imagine a home-brew application wouldn't be too far-fetched. I'm sure you can find some people in the NintendoDS community willing to work on something along those lines.

 

A notepad, calendar, alarm, planner, address book, etc... Not a big task if you ask me.

WinDS had some of those things. Not a phone obviously.

Actually, there is a PDA app for M3. It has lots of features, like a dictionary that has a voice to pronounce words for you, a clock w/alarm, a notepad, paint, and a bunch of other things.
