Ok, this is a free(ware) doujin fighting game that had it's last update 2 years ago. But it's still pretty soild.

Each character is a cosplay of either an anime or manga series (in some cases, video games). And their attacks are based on characters from the series. (Yo is Biohazard(RE) Cosplay, thus her attacks are Zombie Attack (She puts on a mask and pretends to a zombie) and Rocket Launcher (while jumping, she turns into Nemesis and shoots at a rocket at you)). The game is very similar to Capcom's Pocket Fighter because it's crazy and zaniey.

Yup, this game is pretty nifty.

 

Now that we're talking about doujin games, Line Shooting Spirits cracks me up every single time.

 

Also, need more shmups. AngerAze 2, Warning Forever, and AirRade-Air and too awesome, but I require more. PowerDolls 5X might do the trick, although it isn't a shmup. And something new form Shanghai Alice plz.
