I want a subwoofer, the one im using now is...not exactly good, here is my option

I also need a TV, because the one im using now likes to be fussy and not stay on, and its probably time i tryed out this newfangled HD-Era nonsense....but if im going to do it, im going to be a cheapass about it (although the below TV DOES Support 720p and 1080i, i dont care about 1080p yet its ridiculous) heres my option for that

I also need a video card, the one i had blew up, and im on a backup card, which happens to be a GeForce 3, It runs everything surprisingly well, but by surprisingly well i dont mean excellent, plus if i upgrade my video card ill pick up Battlefield 2 which ive been dying to get for a long time now, after tons of research, i decided i want a ATi Radeon X1950XT, dont tell me to get anything else because thats what i want

My other option, which is much cheaper (Might be able to get along with a digital camera or something), is the Hookah i want, for those of you that have never tried hookah, its alot of fun, and not all disgusting and stinky and bad tasting like cigarettes, and not illegal like other things (oh wait...i smoke that too...oh well, help me kill myself, jk)

If you're gonna spend your money on a new TV, and you want an HDTV capable TV......for f**k sake don't buy something like that. 4:3 HDTV from some company I've never even heard of.

At least buy from a company that's been heard of, even if they aren't highly praised. That and 16:9 dude, what's the friggin point of having 720p capability on 4:3, and not being able to watch widescreen movies the way they were intended?

IMO, never buy a product from a unknown brand. Never buy a "cheapo" either. Since either tends to brake fast and have less then half the quality of the normal.

Agreed with Cinder. HDTVs are not something to skimp on and definitely go for 16:9. I don't know why they even make 4:3 HDTVs.

Insignia is one of those rebrand things, so really its something else, and the consumer reports on this company are actually pretty good, ive used one before and i have to say it wasnt that bad, its got HDMI and all that (i dont think i would use it though, unless the 360 finally gets HDMI support)

 

i mean i guess your right, but in my room anything over 32 inches is probably overkill, and im still sticking to CRTs because not only do they usually look alot better but they are alot more durable/cheaper. So i thought this would be a good cheapo set to buy untill i could afford something really decent.

 

ill prolly go for the hookah/digital camera, and get the video card next paycheck, maybe a nice samsung LCD monitor to go alongside my CRT (which will probably end up looking weird)
