Mooney
Allright, I'm fed up with Windows on my current PC... the one I'm trying to sell. So unless someone wants it with Windows NOW, I'm putting Linux on it. I can always re-install Windows, so don't let that deter you potential customers. Anyway, I'm thinking of installing Fedora Core 6 or Mandriva, unless anyone else has some suggestions? (I won't be using this comp for much, just browsing the web, IM, and mebbe P2P. Also, I really don't know much about Linux in the first place.) Suggestions on apps would be welcomed, too. ken_cinder
Potential customer wants specs and asking price...... Otherwise I suggest Mandriva.
Weirdy
Due bad experiences with Fedora Core*, I would seriously choose Mandriva. *One program can be considered to be a dependency for the whole OS. Uninstall that program and the OS will uninstall itself. Even if it's a media player.
