hey guys

i was wondering can dreamcast system play burned cd-r games like if i burned a cdi game onto a cd-r can it be played on dreamcast

or do i have to make adjustments on the dreamcast lens first or something?

Short answer: Yes.

yes you can, but dont make the mistake of burning the CDI file to the CD like some people do, CDI files (along with ISO, NRG, etc) are images of CD Data, you need something like alcohol 120% to burn it in a playable form

i used dic juggler isnt that the same thing as alcohol 120%??

Its not the same, but itll do.

 

General rule, burn in DAO mode in DiscJuggler or Alcohol or even Nero and your CDI images should burn correctly.
