Gamestop sells PSP Memory Stcik with porn on it

FORT WORTH, Texas -- A Fort Worth mother said the refurbished Sony PlayStation Portable memory card she bought from a local Gamestop store was packed with pornography.

 

Sandra Hemm said she bought the refurbished card for her son at the McCart and Alta Mesa store and was told it would be like new.

 

Instead, she said, the card, which stores game data, contained several pornographic videos and photos.

 

She said she made the discovery when her son, John, and a friend turned on the game system.

 

"Oh my goodness. I just, my stomach turned, you know. I just was sick. I just couldn't believe they had witnessed that," Hemm said.

 

A GameStop spokesman said he has never heard of an incident like this happening and said the company has a process to erase data from refurbished cards.

 

The GameStop corporate office is investigating.

Makes you wonder if there are more of these xxx memory sticks out there, doesn't it?

This is pretty funny, but i have a story that tops it

 

My friend bought a used Xbox game, and packed in between some of the pages of the manual was a little bag of coke

 

and by coke i mean cocaine and no the game wasnt 50 cent bulletproof

the kid got the memory stick, downloaded porn on it himself, and then when he got caught with it he blamed the store/said it was already there so he wouldn't get in trouble

Plausible, but the article doesn't mention when the porn was "found" on the mem stick. If it was just after leaving the store, then it was not the kid's fault. If it was a day or two later, welll then...

yeah i bet that kid has never seen porn before, i hate parents who think their kids are as pure as virgin snow.

i suggest you buy a couple used HDDs and see waht you end up with then
