Steam is being retarded again

Do you guys watch the news? Seattle is going through major weather problems and the power is out. Many of the servers are down.

 

This illustrates a major problem steam has: not being able to play single player games. I wanted to play some HL2 today but I couldn't. THey need more servers around the country.

I thought they had more distributed servers than that :/ well this sucks, i was really wanting to test the adjustable DPI in Counter-Strike: Source

My "letter" was more along the lines of not having Episode 1 yet and when I do have it, I hope I have less headaches than the time when I tried getting HL2 working properly.
