Shibathedog
alright well im going to be buying a bunch of stuff for my computer (again) mainly because i havent bought a real video card yet, and the mobo i got was just for temporary use because i had no money Im thinking about getting this mobohttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813130055 although i hate intel chips really badly, i always have problems with them, and it says this: Only DDR2-800 memory supporting JEDEC approved 1.8V operation with timings of 5-5-5 or 6-6-6 is supported on Intel Desktop Boards based on Intel 965 Express Chipsets.Because of the limitations of chipset, this MB does not support Win98/ME. right now i have this as my RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820178091 Will that work in that mobo? I would rather not buy more ram i already spent 150 >_< If i dont get that mobo i want either thishttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813131045 or this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813188009 Ill also be getting a SATA HDD, and either an ATi Radeon X1950XTX or ATi Radeon X1950XT depending on how much money i have (wouldnt it be smarter to just buy the XT version and overclock it though?) Shibathedog
eh i figured if im going to spend this much i might as well spend another 50 bucks or whatever and get an 8800GTS and overclock it, i guess i just have to save a shitload of money :/

Mooney
Why would you get an Intel mobo if you hate Intel chips? Do you already have a good Intel cpu? Even if you do, I'd say it'd be worth it to go AMD.As for the RAM, it appears it will NOT work with the first mobo you stated, because of this:...timings of 5-5-5 or 6-6-6...While your RAM has 4-3-3-8.
