Ahmad89 Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Is there a dvd burner that can burn from the outside in. And if there is what is its name. From what i heard thats one way of burning gc games onto a dvd mini without using any mod chips or whatever they are called. did anybody try it and does it work all the time. Thanks.
Mooney Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 (edited) I have no idea what kind of DVD burner you're talking about, but here's an *old* tutorial on how to run GCN backups without a mod chip: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/292668 Edited December 21, 2006 by Mooney
Ahmad89 Posted December 21, 2006 Author Posted December 21, 2006 I dont want to have to buy the max drive pro. What i ment about the dvd burner is that the way nintendo burns their game is from the outside part to the inner side instead of from the middle to the outside which all burners do. I am asking if there is a dvd burner that can burn from the outside in. If there isnt is, there a way without having to buy anything of the internet and only using a dvd burner, mini dvds and offcourse my gamecube. Thanks for all your help
Wizard Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Theres no way you could do that unless you had a modchip. The fatal lacking is the barcode thinger.
Madman Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 You can burn any ISO found out there on a mini dvd using any dvd-burner.
Shibathedog Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 even if you burned it from the outside in, it wouldnt help any, there are additional anti-piracy measures.
Madman Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 oh yeah i didnt read that modchip thingy. you sure need a modchip to play the games you burned.
