Excellent find GameCop. I love the audience's reactions, because Nintendo obviously didn't pay enough attention to the security "features" on its consoles.

well technically you could modify a gamecube modchip with some new firmware, probably new connections, and make it work on a Wii

This news is about 2 weeks old, and talk about BROKEN flockING TELEPHONE! He was giving a security speech at a conference. The Wii hasn't been hacked and the "THEORY" is just that, a "THEORY".

Seeing as how this is my first news post in a very long time... spare me some shame as I am trying my best to keep up to date with the most current and correct news.

 

But as you can see, I just need to modify my sources for better gaming news. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
