wifi time restriction

Has anyone else experienced issues using the pointy remote, nds aim, or the weather.com program outside of the hour from 12-1? I have tested this by changing the time, these programs open fine, outside of the "correct" time the program freezes on loading. I am using max media dock CF, waiting for my M3CF, I can find wifi connections, but have yet to connect...but that is a different issue, maybe. I also know that it has nothing to do with whether or not a wifi is available b/c I can find mine at home, but I cant find 1 at work...but the program still loads.
