MAMEoX up and quit on me.

I just got a copy of the 12/06 MAMEoX. This is the first MAME on this machine as far as I know. It was working fine for me (some roms didn't work but I know how that is). I turn off my Xbox, go out to dinner, launch it and it freezes... The start up screen is even animated until I hit a button on my controller, then it freezes.

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I was just starting to get excited about my progress for a MAME/Media Center Cabinet.

Well, I left the emu on the frozen screen for a while and an hour later I checked on it and it was in screensaver mode. Now it seems to work just fine. Anyone else ever experience this? I'd like this to be a one time only affair.

 

Now I'd like to find cabinet art or something similar (screenshots being a second choice) for the front end so my guests can pick games they recognize.
